Customers in the Stobonet segment of the Borders Online network have experienced very poor service this morning. The core network links have been affected by the accumulation of snow in some of the dishes. We have re-routed traffic to move it away from this link, but there will still be other smaller links that have been similarly affected.
We apologise for the inconvenience but we need to give a warning for everyone. The snow that has been and continues to fall is very wet and is falling over much of our network area; sticking to the antennas and affecting the signals. We will try to deal with any problems as they arise but there are limits on how much we can do.
